LABELS INQUIRIES ABOUT HOW TO PRINT LABELS FOR THE PROFESSIONAL COIN CERTIFICATION HOLDER How are the labels created? The labels are created in a label program and then placed into a Microsoft Word document. The process will create 32 labels on a page and they are printed on 64 LB card stock. The process creates labels the exact size needed for the holder; however the labels must be cut with a razor knife. Once you are to this point you can contact me by phone or email and I will walk you through the process. I will also design your label for you at no cost and email you the files so that all futures labels you create will be a simple process of pulling up a completed label in the label program and making the changes to the label and saving the same. After a short while you will have all your labels made. While this sounds a little complicated now it is a very simple process and once you are familiar with the process you will be able to design and print labels in just a few minuets. To make it easier to cut labels you can buy a special paper rimming guide at: Great paper trimming guide at: The label program is sold on the net and has a thirty day free trial period. You can use any label program you desire. The only reason I suggest this one is it is the one I use and I can assist you in the design of your label. The label program I use can be found at: http://www.camdevelopment.com/designer/label_deluxe/ The holder was designed to have a label sealed inside when the holder is closed without the need to have any glue or special labels. Once the holder is sealed the pressure of the two parts of the holder will hold the label in place. The labels are printed on 64 LB card stock. Please contact me after you have downloaded the free thirty day trial of the label program and I will assist you in the design of your label. If you would like to have a numbered hologram for the back of your holder they can be purchased at this web site: http://www.novavisioninc.com/pages/prd_hologram_holograms.html This instruction is in two parts. This is part 2 which is applied after you have made a graphic file in the label program. Instructions on how to print a label after you have made and saved a graphic file in the label program. You will have your graphic file, example below: You will need to put a border on this file. To do so drop your file in a blank word doc and then go to format and select BORDERS AND SHADING. The select BOX it should be the second choice down on the left. Then where is says COLOR select light grey. It should be the far right and the second from the bottom. Then make sure your WIDTH is set to ½ PT it should already be set but if not change it to the above. What you did in the process was to put a grey border around the label and create the exact size label you need to have. Now after you complete the rest of the process the label will line up exactly to your BACK Word DOC. I will explain how to print these at the end. Now you have your label and you can add different labels or you can make a page of the same labels. Just click on the label and make a COPY. Then repeat the label as many times as you wish. You must have three on a line and they have to be centered. Once you have the page you MUST CENTER THE PAGE or they labels will not line up when you print them. You should have a back doc already printed. You may have to do a few tests to see how your printer works and your printer may work differently than mine. I print my back doc first and then I take out the printed doc and put it back into the printer to print the front on the label. My printer prints on the part of the paper that is face up. Therefore on my printer I put the printed BACK doc face down with the plain side viewable. I then print the labels and after you have printed them you can hold the labels up to a light and make sure the back lines up with the front. If it does not line up then something is wrong. As long as your back doc is correct then the problem is with either how you put the paper in the printer or you may not have saved the labels and centered them. If you have any questions please contact me, it is a lot easier to walk you through this process while you are on the phone.
